if it was literally error on/off_get was not declared in this scope
with the slash, it could be that an extra character snuck in on line 154 when you were pasting into the Arduino app.
The variable is declared up at line 49, which makes the error tricky to debug without seeing your source :/

I tried this but got the error on/off_get was not declared in this scope.
