Hybrid alert - gets 30mpg highway and 34mpg city! Fully loaded with many accessories including factory GPS navigation system, Audiophile sound system, heated leather seats, keyless entry (number pad on driver door), separate driver and passenger climate control, backup sensor, multi-disc CD player, factory rear window tint, roof rack, rear window wiper and defrost, bug shield. Other misc. features include an AC power outlet in front and two DC (one in front, one in back), a trip computer which keeps track of how many miles until your next gas fill up, and also has warning lights for tire pressure, brake system, oil pressure, electrical system, low fuel and door ajar. It also has rear sensors that alert you to objects behind you when backing up.
We have really enjoyed having this vehicle, however, we recently moved to a bigger city and do not need two vehicles any more. The vehicle was been well-maintained while we've had it. Recent tune-ups we've done to get the car ready for sale include: two new tires (BF Goodrich), a spare full-sized tire under the vehicle, new front and rear brake pads, new rear rotors, new MECS Pump, recent oil change (synthetic), tires rotated, and adjustment of the calipers, as well as a multi-point inspection. Finally, we have a Ford Extended Service Plan ("BaseCARE") on the vehicle for until it reaches 120,439 miles or 3/11/2014 (whichever is first) that can be transferred to you for an extra $1000.
Some other non-obvious benefits of driving this hybrid include the 4-cylinder Atkinson-cycle gas engine (which gets better mileage than the non-hybrid gas engine), and the fact that the brakes last much longer due to the magnetic regenerative braking system (brake pads make contact much less frequently). Also, you get to silently creep up behind pedestrians. A couple things to take note of: there are some scratches on the rear bumper wheelwell-area and some of the black trim on the door's is a little flaked off on top on both sides of car. Not sure how any of this happened, as that is how it was when we bought the vehicle. The high mileage is due to the first owner of the vehicle, who bizarrely used this hybrid as a commuter vehicle (see CarFax report for mileage periods).
