Yes definitely. I wonder what to call it and if one of the above is too specific and could incorporate it. I suppose the 'connectors' is a specific version of a generalised 'features' model.
There is a name for it; but it escapes me. I'll ask a friend who should know.
Actually connectors is useful on its own. It talks of using other services as a model which is a valid independent model.

do you consider things like 'paying for custom gear' used in games. Free game but $5 for a +1 armour, etc. Things that are not available to the freemium players and therefore identify you as a have?
