How to install Poppler on Ubuntu

First install all these prerequisites for compiling:

sudo apt install g++ autoconf libfontconfig1-dev pkg-config libjpeg-dev libopenjpeg-dev gnome-common libglib2.0-dev gtk-doc-tools libyelp-dev yelp-tools gobject-introspection libsecret-1-dev libnautilus-extension-dev

First download the encoding files (no need to compile these) to the current working directory

wget https://poppler.freedesktop.org/poppler-data-0.4.7.tar.gz
<?php
class Db
{
private $_connection;
private static $_instance; //The single instance
private $_host = DB_HOST;
private $_username = DB_USER;
private $_password = DB_PASSWORD;
private $_database = DB_DB;

Specify a size for a Shopify image asset url. Equivalent to the liquid image size filter: `{{ image | img_url: "medium" }}`
String.prototype.imgURL = function(size) {
// remove any current image size then add the new image size
return this
.replace(/_(pico|icon|thumb|small|compact|medium|large|grande|original|1024x1024|2048x2048|master)+\./g, '.')
.replace(/\.jpg|\.png|\.gif|\.jpeg/g, function(match) {
return '_'+size+match;
})
;
};

Advanced SCSS

Or, 16 cool things you may not have known your stylesheets could do. I'd rather have kept it to a nice round number like 10, but they just kept coming. Sorry.

I've been using SCSS/SASS for most of my styling work since 2009, and I'm a huge fan of Compass (by the great @chriseppstein). It really helped many of us through the darkest cross-browser crap. Even though browsers are increasingly playing nice with CSS, another problem has become very topical: managing the complexity in stylesheets as our in-browser apps get larger and larger. SCSS is an indispensable tool for dealing with this.

This isn't an introduction to the language by a long shot; many things probably won't make sense unless you have some SCSS under your belt already. That said, if you're not yet comfy with the basics, check out the aweso
