Bitwarden Desktop bridge for Zen Browser on Linux

This guide documents the non-obvious part of this setup: connecting the official Bitwarden Firefox extension running in Zen Browser to Bitwarden Desktop through Firefox native messaging.

The fingerprint/polkit section is optional. It is included only for users who also want Bitwarden Desktop's Linux system-authentication unlock.

Requirements

Doc Steward — a shared documentation steward for pi + herdr + pi-intercom

One persistent subagent that owns all documentation edits in a project, serving every simultaneous agent session. Working sessions send verified findings over pi-intercom; the steward edits, validates, commits, and pushes. Sessions never edit or commit docs themselves while the steward is alive. A singleton guard guarantees exactly one steward, and an optional pinned session file means crashes never lose its history.

The steward's name is derived from the project directory
