Updating

Updating is always a pain, since I don't have garmin express

Instructions

Download the latest this script might not have the latest.

  1. Place the gupdate.gcd file, found in the System_v*** folder, into the \GARMIN folder of the device.
  2. If there is a BLE_ANT_SNS_v*** folder, place the gup3127.gcd file into the \GARMIN\RemoteSW folder of the device.
  3. Disconnect from your computer and proceed through the update. If you would like to revert to the last public release software, drop the gupdate.gcd file, found in the System_Backdate_v720 folder, into the \GARMIN folder of the device.

Notes:

  • The GUPDATE.GCD file takes a long time to copy
  • Always run sudo sync after copy
  • Eject the device and wait for the menu to appear

Uploading Activities Manually

On the PC you can go to the Import Data Page and mount the WATCH to the PC, then Go to the GARMIN/Activity and import the fit files, you can double add the files, the framework will know when they are done or not.

Tentei installar o Garmin Express via wine, não da, devem faltar uma carrada de dependencias, mas, com o manual import e Update, nao parece ser preciso.
