Before using this init script, you need to make sure you review the values for:

  • DAEMON
  • DATA_DIR
  • USER and GROUP

To install

sudo curl --silent https://gist.github.com/alghanmi/8998028/raw/znc-init.sh -o /etc/init.d/znc
sudo chmod 755 /etc/init.d/znc
update-rc.d znc defaults
