You will get Error 10:2:12:3:1 while setting up amazon echo devices and you cant connect with WiFi. Called Amazon on error 10:2:12:3:1 Advised the Echo device is listed as lost or stolen and in such case amazon do lock the device so if you are using a used echo this error is very likely to pop up however if you are using a new device and getting error 10:2:12:3:1 there are certain fixes you can perform

While talking amazon support they told me that this errors pops up if you are using stolen device and some one locked this device, however in many case users reported that they get this error on brand new boxed device in that case

  • Make sure to stop all the proxy and VPN services on same wireless network.

  • Make sure your network is of type WPA2 if it's mixed mode wpa/wpa2 it will not connect to the wifi.

  • cross check if you wireless network is dual band having frequency range 2.5 to 5.0 ghz

  • if using android update android system web-view application else you can get white screen error in alexa app

I agree with the solution that you have explained here. I am familiar with 10:2:12:3:1 this error but you have mentioned some other errors code here. How can we encounter these type of Echo errors? As we know Amazon smart speakers are very easy to use and set up. On the other hand, many technical issues also coming in it. Any proper guideline for Amazon echo device how to use and care for them?
