The Magic Tricks of Testing

Many people say "I hate my tests"
They kill your productivity when they're slow
A little change can break your tests (even if they shouldn't)
They're expensive
They are misery incarnate
Just delete some tests
You may have too many tests testing the wrong tests

Set Up

You will need Sija's version of the garb gem, so add this line to your Gemfile (you will need git installed for this):

gem 'garb', :git => 'git://github.com/Sija/garb.git'

Then run the gem bundler: bundle install

Set your google username

Create an .htaccess file in the webroot:

AuthUserFile /app/www/.htpasswd
AuthType Basic
AuthName "Restricted Access"
Require valid-user

Create a .htpasswd file:

htpasswd -c /app/www/.htpasswd [username]

the red keys are ones I never press, the orange ones rarely press enable key remapping by pressing Progrm + F12, then sequences of keys: press they key you want it to be first, then the key you will press to get that
