Tried that but no luck (no effect on the background). Possibly out of date and something changed in slack?

From braden: After launching slack by doing
Open an inspector for your team, then paste this into the console..unfortunately i haven't found a good way to automate this yet.
in a inspector in order to apply the theme to the team.
