To combine the pdfs into 1 single pdf:

cd /usr/local/bin
sudo ln -s "/System/Library/Automator/Combine PDF Pages.action/Contents/Resources/join.py" PDFconcat

Then run it
PDFconcat -o merged.pdf first.pdf *.pdf
