What this is

A small userscript that stops Basecamp's My Tasks tray from closing on stray clicks — most importantly, it lets you Ctrl-click / ⌘-click a task to open it in a new tab without the tray snapping shut. It also keeps the tray open when you click empty space or press Escape (close it deliberately with the tray's Close button or the T hotkey).

It only runs on app.basecamp.com and only touches the tasks tray.

1. Install a userscript manager

You need an extension that runs userscripts:

List repos

I use this at EBW when I want to get a list of all of our repos for maintenance purposes.

To use this script:

1. Save it as get-repo-dates.js
2. Replace your_personal_access_token with your actual GitHub token
3. Run it with Node.js:

How to merge someone's fork of your gist into your gist

I created a gist, then someone else forked it and improved it. With a full repository, I might get their improvements in a pull request. But that isn't availabe for gists.

This is how to get their changes into my gist.

1. Clone your own gist

    git clone git@gist.github.com:YOUR_GIST_ID_GOES_HERE.git
