Thoughts on twitter attribution
via Used when attributing link/tweet/idea to others,
but attributing tweet either quoted from
linked work (not tweet) or originally written.
Attribution in form of twitter username
or full real name.
Links gathered from twitter users to *their own*
blog or site do not require via. This
constitutes an original 'discovery' of
the link.
RT Used when copying tweet verbatim from
another twitter user. Attribution in form
of twitter username. Truncation is allowed,
though use of brackets encouraged if done.
When adding your own comments, do so before the
`RT` delimiter. Everything after RT @username is
considered a direct quotation.
Quotes Quotes can be attributed with standard em-dash
style, *or*, if it is a direct quote from an
article, a raw link can stand in as a reference.
In these cases, it is advisable but not
required to enclose quote in quotation marks.
