Hi [Name],

I'm a 9th grader at Homestead and I dance ballet outside of school. I've been getting interested in sports medicine and how the body works — how injuries happen, how they're prevented, and how tools and devices can help.

I'm working on a summer project in this area and I was wondering if I could come talk to you for 15-20 minutes sometime before school ends. I'd love to hear about what you see day-to-day working with our athletes and whether there's anything I could help with or learn from over the summer.

No worries if the timing doesn't work — I know it's a busy time of year.
