| 1. Who this applies to | |
| This policy applies to users of r/Birmingham whose posts or comments are processed | |
| by Birmingham Bot. | |
| 2. Data processed | |
| When a post or comment is submitted to r/Birmingham, the app reads: | |
| - The author's Reddit username | |
| - The text content of the post or comment | |
| - The Reddit content ID and permalink | |
| This data is used solely to evaluate whether a ban should be issued. | |
| 3. Data storage | |
| The app stores only lightweight job-scheduling data in Devvit's Redis store | |
| (post IDs and scheduled job IDs for the flair-lock feature). No post text, | |
| comment text, or usernames are persisted in any database controlled by this app. | |
| 4. Data sharing | |
| If the optional Google Doc integration is enabled, a summary of each keyword-match | |
| ban action (username, matched content, date, and permalink) is sent to a private | |
| Google Doc accessible only to the r/Birmingham moderators. This is transmitted via | |
| an HTTPS POST to a Google Apps Script endpoint controlled by the moderators. | |
| No data is sold or shared with any third party. | |
| 5. Reddit's own policies | |
| All content on Reddit is also subject to Reddit's Privacy Policy: | |
