what about multiple node.js APP that use socket.io?

I got an error
"nginx: [emerg] unknown "connection_upgrade" variable" which I fixed by setting it to be 'proxy_set_header Connection "upgrade";'
I fixed it by follow
change
proxy_set_header Connection $connection_upgrade;
to
'proxy_set_header Connection "upgrade";'
