Markdown License Badges for your Project

Markdown License badges

Collection of License badges for your Project's README file.
This list includes the most common open source and open data licenses.
Easily copy and paste the code under the badges into your Markdown files.

Notes

  • The badges do not fully replace the license informations for your projects, they are only emblems for the README, that the user can see the License at first glance.

Configure Git to use a proxy

Configure Git to use a proxy

In Brief

You may need to configure a proxy server if you're having trouble cloning or fetching from a remote repository or getting an error like unable to access '...' Couldn't resolve host '...'.

Consider something like:

# Defaults / Configuration options for homebridge
# The following settings tells homebridge where to find the config.json file and where to persist the data (i.e. pairing and others)
HOMEBRIDGE_OPTS=-U /var/lib/homebridge
# If you uncomment the following line, homebridge will log more
# You can display this via systemd's journalctl: journalctl -f -u homebridge
# DEBUG=*

PLEASE DON'T USE THIS GUIDE

It's over 9 years old (as of 2024-02-18), there are many better guides! You might like https://rust-unofficial.github.io/too-many-lists/

% Let's build a binary tree!

Bulk remove iTerm2 color schemes.
# There was a day where I have too many color schemes in iTerm2 and I want to remove them all.
# iTerm2 doesn't have "bulk remove" and it was literally painful to delete them one-by-one.
# iTerm2 save it's preference in ~/Library/Preferences/com.googlecode.iterm2.plist in a binary format
# What you need to do is basically copy that somewhere, convert to xml and remove color schemes in the xml files.
$ cd /tmp/
$ cp ~/Library/Preferences/com.googlecode.iterm2.plist .
$ plutil -convert xml1 com.googlecode.iterm2.plist
$ vi com.googlecode.iterm2.plist
