Complain to the BBC about that transphobic hit piece

I was shocked/horrified/saddened to read the article in question. The article is heavily transphobic/biased/hateful/stupid and repeats numerous right-wing stereotypes of trans women. 

I/we/ZUUUL wish to point out the following most offensive aspects :

- This article is regarded as transphobic by the trans community. 
- The entire article is based upon an amateur social media survey (fewer than 90 respondents), and, quite separately, the authors knowledge of hearsay and gossip within anti-trans groups. 
- The author of the survey herself acknowledges that the survey is not representative of the mainstream lesbian community. 
- The article heavily implies that trans women are rapists by nature, while simultaneously stating that there is no data to backup any claims to this offensive implication. 
- There is no journalistic grounding for this article. What issue is it covering? 
- The article appears to be based on the authors own personal animosity towards trans women. 
- There was no impartiality in the article whatsoever. 
- The only trans voices quoted are two notoriously right-wing and conservative trans women. Neither of them spoke in defence of trans women. 
- If any of the hearsay incidents described by the author are true then they constitute the actions of individuals and CANNOT be applied, as the article implies is the case, to an entire minority group. The acts of individuals in a group are not the responsibility of that entire group. 
- Multiple anti-trans groups were quoted. 
- LGB Alliance was quoted, despite being widely regarded as a hate group by trans people. 
- No trans-specific organisation was quoted. (Stonewall is a wider LGBT organisation, having only accepted trans people less than a decade ago and is most certainly not run by trans people)
- It is noted in the article that no mainstream trans women would talk with the BBC. This is unsurprising - following the Lucy Meadows case in 2013 the UK media is no longer trusted by the trans community. Despite this quotes were lifted from random mainstream trans women. 

I request a full reply and an explanation for why this article was even considered, let alone published.
