Hello everyone. Does Final Cut 10.5.4 work on Mojave? I am using a 2013 imac. I was using Hight Sieerra. But I upgraded and switched to Catalina. But my computer is very slow. But I want to use Final Cut 10.5.4. Do you think if I install Mojave, a lower version of Catalina, will the problem be solved? Or is Catalina better? Maybe it will get better with time? I am very undecided. I don't know what to do. I am using a 2013 imac. :( My computer does not receive upgrades after Catalina. The latest version I could upgrade to is Catalina. And Final Cut 10.5.4, but I wonder if this version of Final Cut will run on Mojave. Yes, I am writing the same things over and over again. Sorry for that, I am very confused. Can you please give me a suggestion, what should I do? thank you so much.
High Sierra is the best, Mojave is good, Catalina is the worst :-)
Final Cut 10.5.4 does not work in Mojave.
Final Cut 10.4.10 is the last version for Mojave.

I don't know why, but I can't download the version 10.8.1 of Final Cut Pro because the file doesn't properly downloads. What I should do?
I have MacOS Ventura 13.7.8 (22H730).
Im not very good with Mac, I am a PC user.
But I use my 2017 MacBook Pro 14inch for video editing only, and I bought FCP with my MacBook.
I had a failed hard drive issue that is now fixed. I had to install MacOs on to the new drive, and now I can't download my FCP from App Store as my MacOs is out of date.
I stumbled across this thread here searching for solutions.

I have the same problem on my system running macOS Monterey, @Superbee83. My FCP was working perfectly, but after a clean install of the system, the App Store does not allow me to download an older version of the app. Already reported this problem and tried the phone call with Apple, but no success.

Apple have pulled all versions of Final Cut Pro, Compressor and Motion off of the App Store for macOS Ventura and below. Only macOS Sonoma and above (despite the error claiming you need macOS Sequoia) can redownload them.
Also, just so it's all in one post, here is a list of the latest Final Cut Pro version for each macOS version, assuming all updates installed:
Snow Leopard, Lion and Mountain Lion: 10.0.9 (if anyone's curious, the last Wayback Machine capture of the Final Cut Pro trial page before version 10.1.0 came out states 10.0.8, but 10.0.9 had been out for five months by then. Maybe Apple just forgot to update the page? Not sure if the trial DMG for either has been saved anywhere.)
