HTTPS in there works for me. At least if the certificate issue is dealt with.
right and thats where the issue is/was ! thank you for helping me isolate !

so when I first tried this (some moons ago) I did something like
I was expecting alt-svc to make an entry (due to alt-svc header) ... which also does not work ... then I flailed about with the above and that also did not work - feel like I am missing some important context either in test framework or my understanding.
