Installation of optifine mod using UltimMC / MultiMC Minecraft launcher
Another gist exist with the same purpose. It did not work for me. Since the maintainer didn't seem to respond to other comments, I made my own.
I've found the solution in a comment under a youtube video. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m8DoVVMEx2k pinned comment)
