Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how EQ - Shayx Alijon ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and discloses your information when you use our mobile application (the "App").

  1. Information Collection

We do not collect, store, or share any personally identifiable information (PII) from our users. The App is designed to be used offline for listening to the Quran.

Personal Data: We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, or location.

Usage Data: We do not track your usage patterns or listening history outside of your device.

  1. App Permissions

The App requires specific permissions to function correctly on your Android device:

Foreground Service: Used to play audio in the background when the screen is off or the app is minimized. This is essential for the continuous listening experience.

Wake Lock: Used to prevent the device from sleeping while audio is playing, ensuring uninterrupted playback.

  1. Local Storage

The App uses your device's local storage (SharedPreferences) solely to save your user preferences, such as:

Timer settings (Start/End time).

Timer On/Off status.

Selected tracks (Surah selection).

This data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to any external server.

  1. Third-Party Services

The App does not use any third-party advertising services (AdMob, etc.) or analytics tools (Firebase Analytics, etc.) that collect user data. It is completely ad-free.

  1. Children’s Privacy

Our App does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. Since we do not collect any personal data, our App is safe for users of all ages.

  1. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
