- 1 cup nutritional yeast flakes
- 1.5 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 Tbsp. arrowroot starch
- 2 Tbsp. Earth Balance vegan butter
- 3 shakes of garlic powder
- 1 tsp. ground cumin
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 2 shakes of cayenne pepper
- 3 shakes of red pepper flakes
- 1 finely diced jalapeno pepper
- 3 spoonfuls of diced tomatoes
- In saucepan, melt vegan butter and add in almond milk. Whisk together.
- Whisk in nutritional yeast flakes and mix until thoroughly combined.
- With heat on high and whisking consistently, add in arrowroot starch. Do not stop whisking until mixture is completely smooth or it will clump.
- Turn heat to low and mix in seasoning, tomatoes, and jalapeno
- Optional: Add top secret hot sauce
