Phaser?

• Joe used phaser to make a space invaders game, it was straightforward.

WordPress REST API?

• Wordpress rest api a rest api for wordpress!
• no-one had really heard of it. (It’s very cool.)

Chrome Browser Extensions?

• for sharing posts outside a social network (Chrome). Sounds like it worked well.
• for highlighting text being persisted between visits (Firefox). Interested in getting people helping with it.

http2?

• Phil uses h2 in production at philna.sh

datastores?

• Ryan uses something called mysql
• Neo4j is cool - comes with its own graphical ui and a religion
• Rethink DB is interesting

Anyone built anything with NFC?

• Ruth, for putting her car into “car mode”.
• Jamie, did some work into decoding the oxford bus tickets. Could read the last two journeys from the card.
• Also, what even is NFC? Near Field Communication

Yes I had heard of the wordpress rest api, it got a lot of buzz last autumn - sorry I was late the party (I still can't think of a good use case tho...)

I thought adding cloudflare auto put https on my blog, but it hasn't - I am looking into it

Datastores: Firebase - not just a datastore but an eco system from google - super cool, might do a show & tell at some point.

NFC, to put my 'phone' into car mode - I had a chip in the car and touched my phone on it when I got in the car and it went on silent etc... it was a few years ago and just a quick thing done with a native android app - I might still have the phone at home and can check.
