What feedback did you get on Dog Party today? What was your biggest takeaway?
- Indentations and syntax could be things to work/focus on for both. Make sure not over create TOO many classes.
Goals and Expectations for the Project (You don't know the details of the project yet. But as you go into any project, how do YOU define success?)
- Try to use personal knowledge to get as far as possible, and really learn the topic.
Team strengths & collaboration styles (consider discussing your Pairin qualities here):
- Talkative, and both work better with deadlines. FLexible with meeting time.
How we can use our strengths to overcome obstacles:
- Communication. Collaboration, spitting ideas off each other.
Schedule Expectations (When are we available to work together and individually? What constraints do we have?):
- Start with right after class, then widen out as the scope of the project widens.
Communication Expectations (How and often will we communicate? How do we keep lines of communication open? How will we make decisions as a team?):
- Talk after class each day, and open to communication outside school.
Abilities & Growth Expectations (Technical strengths and areas for desired improvement):
- Focus in on weak areas, and put more time in where needed.
Workload Expectations (How are we going to make sure we contribute equally?):
- Make defined sections to focus in on, that way we have "individual" work that we can then look over after.
Workflow Expectations (Git workflow/Tools/Code Review/Reviewing Pull Requests/Debugging and Problem-solving Techniques):
- Communicate before commits to make sure everyone is on the same page.
Expectations for giving and receiving feedback:
- Open to feedback, be clear and respectful.
Project management tools we will use (GitHub Projects and Trello are popular tools):
- Use Poms to get breaks. Make some sort of checklist based off initial wireframe.
Solid DTR, nice work!
