Logo strategy (hybrid)

Logos come from two sources, prioritized:

theSVG (563 companies, 22%) — vector brand logos from https://thesvg.org, served via jsDelivr CDN: https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/gh/glincker/thesvg@main/public/icons/{brand}/default.svg theSVG is a developer-focused brand icon library (tech/software tools), so it covers tech, internet, and software companies well.
Official company website (1,730 companies) — homepage HTML fetched and its self-hosted apple-touch-icon / icon / og:image extracted and verified.
(238 companies) — Google favicon fallback for sites behind anti-bot walls, geo-restricted, or JS-only.

Traditional-industry companies (banks, energy, pharma, manufacturing) usually lack a theSVG icon, so they keep their official-site logo.

Cleaning

Country names normalized (e.g. USA/United States → United States, S. Korea → South Korea, UK/United Kingdom → United Kingdom, S. Arabia → Saudi Arabia, UAE → United Arab Emirates). 58 distinct countries.
