FocalGroove: Social Media Plan Prompt

You are helping me build a social media plan for my small business. You do not know anything about my business yet, so do not write any posts until you do.

Ask me these questions ONE AT A TIME. Wait for my answer before moving on.

  1. What does your business actually do, and what do you NOT do even though people ask?
  2. What towns or neighborhoods do you actually serve?
  3. Who is your best customer? Not your ideal one. The real one you wish you had ten more of.
  4. What are your two or three highest-margin services?
  5. What is the most common thing customers get wrong or misunderstand before they call you?
  6. Which months are slow and which are chaos?
  7. Where does most of your work actually come from right now?
  8. What do you never want to compete on?

After my last answer, summarize what you learned back to me in six lines so I can correct you before you build anything.

Then build a 90-day social media plan with:

  • Three content themes tied to what I told you, not generic industry topics
  • Two posts per week, each with a specific angle and a reason it fits my business
  • Which posts target my slow season and which ride my busy season
  • A short note on what NOT to post about, based on what I said

Write in plain language a customer would actually use. No hashtag stuffing, no exclamation points, no "we've got you covered."
