This is a very simple git workflow. It (and variants) is in use by many people. I settled on it after using it very effectively at Athena. GitHub does something similar; Zach Holman mentioned it in this talk.

Profiling

This gist contain a set of modules to help you to profile your application

Update HISTORY.md
Commit the changes:

git add HISTORY.md
git commit -m "Changelog for upcoming release 0.1.1."

Update version number (can also be minor or major)

bumpversion patch
