Steps to reproduce:

1. vim -u clean.vimrc delimitMate-CR.txt
2. Append a new line, type foo then press <C-X><C-N> to start completion
3. Press <C-N> to select a candidate, say foofighter
4. Press <BS> to delete some input characters, make the input become foofig
5. Press <CR> to accept the selected item from complete menu

Expected: take the candidate, input become foofighter
Result: input keep foofig, the <CR> create a new line
