Get an estimate of how much a query is going to cost before you run it.

Instructions

Create a new bookmark with the contents of 2-bookmarklet as the URL.
Whenever you open a new BQ session, click the bookmarklet to attach the observer. You only have to do it once per session.

Identifying Non-Chronological Tweets In Timeline

There are two stages to this:

identify initially loaded non-chrono tweets
identify newly loaded non-chrono tweets as user scrolls

There are so many great GIFs out there and I want to have copies of them. Twitter makes that harder than it should be by converting them to MP4 and not providing access to the source material. To make it easier, I made a bash pipeline that takes a tweet URL and a filename, extracts the MP4 from that tweet and uses ffmpeg to convert back to GIF.
