- 3 Gallon PET carboy w/ spigot
- Recommend going with a fermonster with a spigot (it'll save you from having to deal with a racking cane & bottling wand later)
- If you want to start doing large batches out of the gate, go with a 5 gal carboy
- Bubbler air lock
If siphonless vessel is not available:
- Yeast Nutrient
- The high nitrogen content is important here
- Lalvin D-47 White Wine dry yeast
- Ferment at lower temps (mid-high 60s) to reduce excess fruity flavors, decent alcohol tolerance (≈15%)
- StarSan Sanitizer
- the 8oz should be more than enough for now
a 5 gallon batch will fill about 24 750ml bottles
