1. Purpose | |
To develop HoNKit, a tool to manage mods and make them easy to use. | |
2. Administrative | |
a. Vadi will administrate. This will include determining features included, when to release, determining goals and deliverables. | |
b. Launchpad will host the code. A website will be administered by Dub. Documentation will be in a /doc dir. | |
3. Features | |
being able to launch honkit, and seeing all mods available for installation today. seeing all mods they have installed. checking for updates & updating. Disabling mods. | |
4. Open Questions | |
1. How to store mods on the server? What information needs to be communicated between the server and the client in order to provide the necessary features? | |
2. How are mods packaged? | |
3. How are mods applied? What sort of 'diffing' method or otherwise do we use. | |
4. How to we interface with HoN resource files? | |
5. Next Meetings | |
1. Friday at 5PM EST on how to apply and store mods. | |
