Noise Meter: Decibel dB Meter (package name wiseapps.ai.noisemeter) is provided by Wise Apps AI as a free application.
We do not collect, store, sell, share, or transmit personal information or usage data.
The app does not include advertising, analytics, attribution, crash-reporting, account, or third-party tracking SDKs. It does not request Android's Internet permission and has no remote backend.
The app requires microphone access to calculate estimated sound levels. Microphone samples are processed transiently and locally on your device while the meter is running. Audio is not recorded to a file, retained, uploaded, or shared with Wise Apps AI or any third party.
You can deny or revoke microphone access at any time through Android system settings. The live meter cannot operate without this permission.
Because the app does not collect personal information or audio recordings, it has no collected data to retain or share.
The app is intended for a general audience aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Phone microphones are not certified sound-level meters. Readings vary by device and are estimates only. The app is not intended for occupational, medical, safety-compliance, or legal measurement.
We may update this policy when the app's features or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be updated when revisions are published.
