Effective date: July 16, 2026
ClearMind: Screen Time ("ClearMind", "we", "our", or "the app") is designed to help you understand and manage app usage on your Android device.
ClearMind can access Android app-usage information when you grant Usage Access. This allows the app to identify which apps are used, how long they are used, and how often they are opened, so it can display your screen-time history. This is the only special permission the current version of the app requests.
Future versions that add app limits and blocking may request additional permissions (such as displaying over other apps or showing notifications). Any such permission will be used only to provide the features you choose to enable, and this policy will be updated accordingly.
ClearMind does not collect, transmit, sell, or share your personal information or app-usage information. Usage history, settings, and app-limit rules are processed and stored locally on your device. The app does not require an account and does not contain advertising or third-party analytics.
ClearMind stores its local data for as long as the app remains installed or until it is cleared through Android system settings. You can delete all ClearMind data by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app.
ClearMind is a general productivity tool and is not directed specifically to children. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children or other users.
Because ClearMind's usage data remains on your device, its protection depends in part on Android's device and app security. No method of electronic storage is completely secure, but ClearMind minimizes risk by not transmitting usage data to our servers.
We may update this privacy policy when the app or legal requirements change. The effective date above will identify the latest version.
