I think of granola as a mixture of:
- 3 parts rolled oats
- 2 part seed
- 1 part nut
- 1 part chewy/sweet
- sweetening gel
- 2 cups thick rolled oats
- 1/3 cup sunflower seeds
- 1/3 cup cashews, or almonds, pistachios, etc (chopped)
- 1/3 cup flax seed
- 1/3 cup hemp seeds
- 1/2 cup raisins, or cranberries, blueberries, chocolate chips
- 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract
- pinch of salt
- 2 1/2 tablespoon of honey or maple syrup, agave nectar, etc
- 2 1/2 tablespoon of coconut oil

Mix all those ingredients together in a bowl with your grubby hands

Spread mixture thinly onto foiled and oiled baking pan

Preheat oven to 400F

Lower heat to 350F then insert pan into the oven

Remove after 10 minutes
