how to pull from docker hub using podman/buildah
On void linux.
Under `/etc/containers/` there is a file called `registries.conf`. It is complemented by `man 5 containers-registries.conf`.
Change (for me lines 11-12) which say
[registries.search]
registries = []

a custom react hook that I want feedback on because it feels like a lot of work and maybe I'm missing something...
// Feedback requested on the useDeepCompareEffect
// it just feels like a bit of work...
// HERE'S THE REASON I NEED THIS:
// when people use the useQuery hook, they'll typically
// do so like this: `useQuery(myQuery, {var1: props.value})`
// which means that passing `variables` to `useEffect` will
// trigger a rerun of the callback even if they didn't
// actually change (referrential equality)
function useQuery({query, variables}) {

Simplistic crud example using Jester and Nim
# This example using
# Nim: 0.18.0
# Jester: 0.2.1
# Using Jester >= 0.3.0 is preferrable if your Nim version > 0.18.0
# In case you're using Jester >= 0.3.0, look the syntax different
# in its example because it's not backward compatible
import db_sqlite, asyncdispatch, json, strformat, strutils, sequtils
