I concur - something besides a comma would be great!
@ndmsp @rvrichards In order to do this without adding a GUI (which would be really nice!), you can edit the code.
- Read
csv.Dialect
. - Find line 50,
writer = csv.writer(file)
. - Edit this line to include some kwargs from the
Dialect
attribute list, e.g.writer = csv.writer(file, quoting = csv.QUOTE_ALL)
. - ???
- Profit.
@chekunkov Is %s
in an SQL query a good idea? Anki supports parameterised queries so you can use ?
instead of %s
then provide the thing you are providing to %
as another argument to the self.col.db.execute
function. It doesn't seem too bad in this case because it's client side and the only thing the user can destroy is their own stuff and it's using the result from an Anki function, but it's still best to provide good examples to new programmers.
@wizzwizz4 parameterised queries are not useful here. they'd quote the set. ids2str
makes sure only integers are passed anyway, so your concerns aren't valid.
Hey ! Thanks for this programm, it works well for me.
Could you help me with a little modification I would like to do ? I can't find how to change the separator of the csv format, which is currently a comma. I would like to put a semi-colon, or anything else to better separate the fields (I use comma in the cards, and Excel can't separate my fields properly).
The best solution would be to put the card and the solution into quotation marks, but I can't find a way either.
Thanks for you help !
