Graylog2 Upstart Jobs

#Graylog2 Upstart

A basic set of Upstart jobs to get Graylog2 up and running quickly. Assumes MongoDB and Graylog2 installed in /opt/. Tested on Ubuntu Server 10.04 LTS, MongoDB 2.0.0, graylog2-server-0.9.5p1, and graylog2-web-interface-0.9.5p2.

#Usage

Place job definitions in /etc/init/ and then use service [job] [command] to start/stop/restart/status the services manually. On boot, the services flow into each other, only starting if dependent services have started. For more on controlling jobs or Upstart in general (a replacement for System-V init), see the cookbook.

Bootstrap Windows EC2 node with WinRM and CloudInit for making your own AMI
# Windows AMIs don't have WinRM enabled by default -- this script will enable WinRM
# AND install the CloudInit.NET service, 7-zip, curl and .NET 4 if its missing.
# Then use the EC2 tools to create a new AMI from the result, and you have a system
# that will execute user-data as a PowerShell script after the instance fires up!
# This has been tested on Windows 2008 R2 Core x64 and Windows 2008 SP2 x86 AMIs provided
# by Amazon
#
# To run the script, open up a PowerShell prompt as admin
# PS> Set-ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted
# PS> icm $executioncontext.InvokeCommand.NewScriptBlock((New-Object Net.WebClient).DownloadString('https://raw.github.com/gist/1672426/Bootstrap-EC2-Windows-CloudInit.ps1'))

Python script to create server SSL certs and sign them with a custom CA.

This simple script makes it easy to create server certificates
that are signed by your own Certificate Authority.
Mostly, this script just automates the workflow explained
in http://www.tc.umn.edu/~brams006/selfsign.html.
Before using this script, you'll need to create a private
