h2. Done
- Install Linux
- Ubuntu 16.04
- Burned install image onto USB stick. Can't remember how. Probably used https://etcher.io/ on my mac.
- There were some issues getting it to boot off the USB but can't remember the exact solution but the steps in https://connorkuehl.github.io/dell-inspiron-7559-linux-guide/index.html#toc-installation might just work.
- Second screen
- Just working. Only had to adjust placement in "Display" settings.
- Graphics Driver
- To get going the first time https://connorkuehl.github.io/dell-inspiron-7559-linux-guide/index.html#toc-installation
- Followed the GUI steps on http://www.webupd8.org/2016/06/how-to-install-latest-nvidia-drivers-in.html
- Seems to be working based on running
nvidia-settings
and watching the GPU utilization percent while playing TuxCart - Fix hostname https://askubuntu.com/questions/59458/error-message-when-i-run-sudo-unable-to-resolve-host-none
- I think this is fixed but not sure how to test
- Spotify
- https://www.spotify.com/us/download/linux/
- Facebook login
- Chrome
- Downloaded from https://www.google.com/chrome/browser/features.html
- Install extra memory
- Just worked.

h2. In progress
- OpenDroneMap http://opendronemap.org/
- Followed instructions on https://github.com/OpenDroneMap/OpenDroneMap#quickstart up through step 2
- Get mouse working over Bluetooth
- Didn't work out of the box. It would connect but not as a mouse.
- Using the USB dongle works for now.
- Installed https://pwr.github.io/Solaar/ but it doesn't do much
- Text-to-speach
- Installed Gespeaker but doesn't seem to work.
- Upgrade Ubuntu to 17.04
- Third party sources disabled Some third party entries in your sources.list were disabled. You can re-enable them after the upgrade with the 'software-properties' tool or your package manager.
- Ran into some strangeness. May try to install from scratch for fresh start.
- Decided to stick with what I have.
- Wine > PlayOnLinux > Steam > TrackMania Nations Forever
- Installed Steam but TrackMania didn't run in it.
- Installed Wine but that didn't help
- Installed PlayOnLinux which seemed to work but could never get TrackMania to launch.
