IMPORTANT!  PRIOR TO PARKING INSPECT SITE FOR OBSTACLES AND LOW-HANGING BRANCHES

Outside

  • Position RV close to hookups (Driver side)
  • Engage parking brake
  • Connect shore power
    • Check to see if a 30-amp adapter is needed
    • Turn on breaker
  • Connect city water (white or blue hose in trunk)
  • Turn off RV water pump 
  • Connect to shore end first and run water to flush hose
  • Turn on water 1/4 turn (beware high pressure!) and test pressure inside

Inside

  • If no shore power use generator
    • Turn off A/C
    • Close all vents to prevent fumes
    • Use switch to start generator
  • Verify refrigerator is “auto” mode for power selection
  • Test carbon monoxide and smoke detectors
