Banana, Dark Chocolate, & 5AM Saint Cake | |

100 g wholemeal flour | |
130 g self raising flour | |
200 g sugar | |
1/2 tsp salt | |
1/2 tsp cinnamon | |
1/2 tsp baking powder | |
150g dark chocolate (chopped) | |
2 over-ripe bananas (mashed) | |
70 g melted butter | |
1 bottle of 5AM Saint | |
Pre-heat oven to 180C | |
Mix flour, sugar, salt, cinnamon, & baking powder together | |
In a separate bowl, mix bananas, butter, & 5AM Saint | |
Add wet ingredients to the dry bowl, and mix well | |
Add the dark chocolate and stir | |
Pour mixture into cake tin, and bake for 40 minutes or longer as required. | |
Pierce with a knife or skewer and bake longer if it comes out wet. | |
Best results if you use a fairly shallow tin. |
