 extension handles data.

 DATA COLLECTION AND USAGE
 The extension reads review text on RateYourMusic.com solely to perform translations when requested by the user. This text is transmitted to a developer-operated proxy server for processing.

 No browsing activity, user activity, or personal information is tracked, logged, or shared.

 TRIAL SYSTEM
 Users who have not provided a DeepL API key may use a developer-operated trial with limited usage (3,000 characters). A randomly generated installation identifier is created on first use and stored in your browser's local extension storage. This identifier is transmitted to the proxy server solely to track trial usage and is not linked to any personal information.

 DEEPL API KEY
 If you provide your own DeepL API key, it is stored in your browser's local storage (localStorage) for RateYourMusic.com and is transmitted to the developer-operated proxy server via an Authorization header with each translation request. The proxy forwards this key to DeepL's API to process the translation and does not store or log your API key.

 TRANSLATION CACHING
 Translated reviews are cached on a developer-operated Redis server to reduce API usage. Cached translations are stored 
 as anonymized hashed key-value pairs and are not associated with any user identity or personal information. Cached data 
 is retained for 30 days before automatic deletion.

 THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
 Translation services are provided by DeepL. Review text submitted for translation will be sent to DeepL's servers regardless of whether you use the trial or your own API key. Please refer to the DeepL privacy policy for more information on how they handle data.

 CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
 The developer reserves the right to update this policy at any time. Continued use of the extension following any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
