Some Kind of Cosmic Jam

What is it *like* to be..
	..a Toward a Science of Consciousness attendee?

To take a biennial pilgrimage
	to sunny Tucson?
To drink in the talks
	and get your thinking caps on?

"Turn on; tune in; drop out"
	at Woodstock of the Mind.
Just watch out for the cops and the
	"Can I just make a statement..." kind.

Where else can you unpack with Deepak:
	East versus West?
Or watch sparring philosophers
	fight for the best?

Hear Stu hammer on about microtubules
	(Bing! Bing! Bing! Bing!)
Or see zombie Chalmers
	do that phone camera thing?

Get stuck between a Block and a Hard place
	[Wait!]
	But can you be certain...
that there's been no gorilla, or change of curtain?

So with another twenty
	- where will we be?
Will our superposed arguments
	collapse so we agree?

(UNLIKELY!)

But we'll keep rolling Toward a Science
	on this bus without brakes.
In search of our intellectual
	filet mignon steaks.

And if (..when?) we get there, we can
	say this with pride:

"The destination is great, but
	- my, what an *A-MAZING* ride!"
