Revert configuration in Drupal 8 with Drush (without using Features)

Note that the drush cim --partial command is very specific to Drush. It is not using any core CMI api to do this; it’s essentially just pulling the files in the directory and pushing them into the active config storage via the Storage API. Features Revert in D8 uses the ConfigRevert service that is part of the config_update module which is possibly a cleaner solution that could make it into core eventually.
