I suggest simply using:
mysqldump --add-drop-table --no-data $DBNAME | grep 'DROP TABLE' | mysql --init-command="SET FOREIGN_KEY_CHECKS = 0;" $DBNAME
ommiting -u and -p as it is better to manage through .my.cnf or socket access
