instructions on how to install the Ergatta app on a different Android tablet/device

Since several people have asked I'll post how anyone can do this, and it's not actually that complicated since I've already gotten the apk file and so can share that.

  1. If you don't already have a tablet you want to use you'll need to get one, I got the Amazon Fire HD 10
  2. On the Android device you want to use as your new Ergatta device download the Ergatta apk file from my Google Drive.
  3. You can use Chrome or whatever browser you have (Amazon Silk, etc). You might need to bypass some security restrictions on the device to download install this file. On my Fire's Silk Browser it prompted me that installing this app might be dangerous etc, but shows you how to bypass.
  4. Remove the old Ergatta tablet from your rower
  5. Attach the USB cable that was going into your old tablet into your new tablet, I'm using one of [these USB-A to USB-C adapters](https://www.amazon.com/Syntech-Adapte

local BUNDLE_ID = 'net.kovidgoyal.kitty' -- more accurate to avoid mismatching on browser titles

If you are like me you find yourself cloning a repo, making some proposed changes and then deciding to later contributing back using the GitHub Flow convention. Below is a set of instructions I've developed for myself on how to deal with this scenario and an explanation of why it matters based on jagregory's gist.

To follow GitHub flow you should really have created a fork initially as a public representation of the forked repository and the clone that instead. My understanding is that the typical setup would have your local repository pointing to your fork as origin and the original forked repository as upstream so that you can use these keywords in other git commands.

  1. Clone some repo (you've probably already done this step).

OpenELEC (4.0.1) WIFI connection details using `connman`

Even though there is a nice XBMC add-on to configure your WIFI settings, sometimes, you may still want to setup the WIFI connection for many reasons or just for fur.

OpenELEC use connman for managing connection to the various available network.

Setuping connman to connect to your protected WIFI network is an easy requiring you only to create a config file and enter some commands in a shell.

The slowness of my zsh prompt when in a git-svn managed directory was killing me. I improved it by removing the git status stuff that slows it down...
