I've written a simple Python class for creating daemons on unix/linux systems. It was pieced together for various other examples, mostly corrections to various Python Cookbook articles and a couple of examples posted to the Python mailing lists. It has support for a pidfile to keep track of the process. I hope it's useful to someone.

How to remove/uninstall Laravel workbench packages
Since I was looking all around how to uninstall packages and after reading tones
of documentations here's the short how-to uninstall a workbench package in Laravel
(or how I managed it to work out):
1. Remove package service provider from 'providers' array in app/config/app.php
2. Remove the package folder in workbench/
3. Run:

Laravel 4: Log all SQL queries and request URL. You can add it in `app/routes.php`.
Event::listen('illuminate.query', function($sql)
{
Log::info('Request URL: '.Request::url() .' Query: '.$sql);
});
