Q3 FxA Internal Goals

  • common standards for log, stats, and config formats
    • all repos following these standards
    • collaborate with larger Cloud Services team on these standards (especially logs)
    • (stretch) common library implementations
  • noticeably easier deployment compared to train-16 for fxa services
    • as determined by us
  • documented dev guidelines
    • a new contributor should be able to read this and not be surprised by any steps between fixing a bug and seeing it in production
    • new projects shouldn't have to start from scratch deciding on every detail
      • ties into common standards
  • research
    • multi-region architecture
    • container based deployment
