UPDATE 2021-11-10
* even after changing the synchronized playback mechanism to use a dbus unpause signal, it seems we still
cannot get rid of the sleep here
* and still, lowering the sleep from 2s -> 1s results in a higher out of sync start up rate.
Data from 2021-11-22 (10 TVs in the tv wall) (this is after we had changed to dbus unpause signal a while ago):
