Some of the editing facilities that are familiar to ISPF users are also achievable in VS Code.

Column (Block) Selection

• Click on a point in the document, hold {⇧ + ⌥} / {Alt + Shift} and drag. This simulates selecting rectangular blocks of text similar to ISPF.

Multi-Cursor Edits

• Hold {⌥} / {Alt} and click at multiple points to place multiple cursors (then adding letters, backspace etc operate on all cursors simultaneously)
